Caveat Emptor
The Sheraton Hacienda is a lovely property. Unfortunately, the rooms have thin insulation and are incredibly noisy. Obviously, if you're a party animal, then this won't bother you. But, if you're looking for peace and quiet, forget about the Sheraton, because the place is overrun with families and young children, and that combined with heavily drinking parents, equals unreasonable noise.
Sheraton has four restaurants, all of which are overpriced for the food served, in my opinion. A cheap piece of flank steak will set you back $24 USD as an entree (salad extra). The tamales and enchilades were dry, and the servers could care less.
Care to golf? Well, the green fees are a pitance...NOT: $155 USD for 18 holes, so unless you REALLY love to golf, you won't be doing a heck of a lot of it, absent bringing a bag full of gold.
Bottom line is that the staff at the Sheraton Hacienda acts like they're doing you a favor letting you stay at their resort. And, if you don't tip big, you don't exist.
Natuarally, the above is merely my humble opinion, and your mileage may vary. But, given the wide choice of resorts to stay at in Los Cabos-San Jose, the Sheraton Hacienda is no longer on my list of preferred locations.
