Econo Lodge Norman, Norman

Do NOT stay here! I booked this hotel through AAA to visit a friend, thought it would be okay for 3 nights. WRONG. Thursday, we checked in. Girl at the front desk was nice and had us paid and room keyed in 5 minutes. The carpet's old, stale smell was too much. My friend's comforter had white stains on top of it. Bathroom was OK aside from a brown-yellowish stain in the tub and a hole punched in the back of the door. Friday, I was dyeing my hair when I saw something crawling into my friend's luggage. I thought it was harmless but called the front desk for assistance. The clerk that answered was the same one who checked us in. She told me they had "never had a problem with [roaches] before" and that she was currently checking someone in and would be there asap. She arrives and I tell her I saw the bug crawling in and figured it was still inside the suitcase. She asks, "So, what do you want to do?" What do you mean?! She suggested bug spray from the front desk (you would think she would have brought it with the firsttime). We spray the critter and IT WAS A ROACH. I've never seen them so I wasn't sure but my friends confirmed that. If there is 1, there are more. Probably in the walls of this place. While my friends were gathering our stuff, I call the front desk again. A different woman answered the phone and I told her it was a roach and I refuse to stay. She offered a change of room but why the hell would I?! She also tried to convince me that A. They were the only hotel with open rooms and that B. It was a "water roach" and they have them here when it gets wet. I am not a fool - it is a COCKROACH. Needless to say, I found another hotel in OKC. Spend the extra and stay somewhere else.

Ilike this one much beter then other econo lodge stay staff nice ,room is clean price is affordable i recomende this hotel for future stay this hotel has all aminity in room that midscale hotel got why pay more money somewhere else you can save more money here almost same room type price affordable

Enjoy Staying ,Very good staff , room is clean and affordable rates we will stay again Because of room and cleanness staff rate my son going to collage in Norman so we come twice a month to see him.

The staff is rude! But I like how Allen AKA the manager and how he writes about the hotel and makes it sound like it is good, i agree with another writer that any of the positive reviews are from the owner or manager, there are several others i see that have negative reports on this hotel and rightfully so! go in for a cheap room and come out charged for a up scale hotel and this one is far from it! Watch your bill closely cause you will be over charged!

we have good time stay, room is nice & clean, right of exit good location ,staff is very nice helpful to us ,we will stay here when we come to norman ,

Just to let all know that any one giving this hotel a positive review is one that owns or runs the hotel, you need to trust me and other REAL people that have stayed there that this is a filthy place it is primitive in it's technology! and it is so nasty that bed bugs have infested the place, trust me I stayed there and have bites that are diagnosed as bed bug bite and I got them from this place!!

this is very nice saty for 4 nights front desk very helpful nice ,room comfertable ,more aminity then other econolodge witch is very good , i will stay again,and telll all my freinds and family to recomend this hotel

The Customer service was the the rudest I have ever encountered, they had some guy there that thought he was God and started to make rude comments to me and my family's race!! Once to the room and inspected it we found it infested with BED BUGS!!! DO not go here!!

This is a very primitive place, they do not even have credit card readers! They use the Old 1960's carbon copy imprinters, so they can not use any Modern credit cards!! This place can't up date that then think how they can't update the rooms!! NEVER had worse customer service than what I got from this lame excuse of a hotel!

good room ,will stay here every time again, clean room ,comfertable room ,staff is friendly, easy essces on hwy & streets, recommend friends and family
