The hotel was very clean. The room was good sized and the hotel was quiet. However, after we checked in, we put our items in the room, placed a "do not disturb" sign on the door and went out. When we returned, it was obvious that someone had been in our room. The curtain was shut that we left open, the pillows had been rearranged that we had moved. I called the front desk to complain. The phone rang 20 times before someone picked it up. The gentleman at the front desk did not seem to be surprised or very apologetic. He suggested the sign must have fallen and that the staff went in to clean the room. The room was already very clean, staff should not have had to come back into the room, AND, with a "do not disturb" sign on the door, should never have even knocked. Within 5 minutes of calling the front desk, another person was knocking at our door (same "do not disturb" sign was on the door). She said she was there to clean the bathroom (which, again, was already clean) - and again, the "do not disturb" sign was clearly on the door. I must admit I'm sure she thought I was rude. I did NOT open the door and I asked her if she knew what "do not disturb" meant? We will NOT go back.
