Yikes! Stay Anywhere Else if You Can!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/11
Should be negative 5 stars!!!! We had the worst stay possible at this hotel! There was no early check-in or even an option for one. So we ended up taking our luggage with us and had to leave it in the car while hiking. We returned to the hotel very late after a long day of hiking and finally checked in, dropped our stuff in the room and went to dinner. Came back around 10:30pm, showered (where we noticed the shower curtain had to stay opened by a foot on each side because the curved shower rods brackets were missing screws and leaning to the floor - the ceiling of the shower also had a large section of paint that was chipping and mold growing behind the chipped paint) and got ready for bed. We removed a small blanket that only covered the foot of the bed - as I was folding up the blanket I saw a fresh blood stain about 4" in diameter on the back of the blanket! We were so grossed out with the blanket that we opened our room door and placed it outside the room to the side of the door. We quickly inspected the rest of the 2 queen sized beds and found the other bed to have yellowish stains on the sheets. Being so tired the 3 of us decided just to go to bed in the one kinda non stayed bed as we had to be up at 5am. When we left at 5:30 I noticed the little blanket thing was gone, which I assumed housekeeping retrieved it. We then tried to block all those things from our minds so we could just enjoy our vacation. When we arrived home I went online to pay some bills and noticed a $150 extra charge from the hotel. I called and they said it was because we "took" the blanket. I was shocked that they would say such a thing and explained what happened. They said the charge sticks as the blanket should have been kept in the room. Who in their right mind is going to keep someones bloody blanket in their room? Besides all of that the entire hotel smells musty and smokey (the non smoking rooms smell like smoke too as they are next to the smoking rooms) If all of the other hotels in the area were not sold out we would have switched for sure!!!! To this point the hotel still refuses to credit the $150 blanket fee, which the manager stated was her cost! They most get them from the same place Trump gets his.......

I Would Stay Here Again
By Mandie, 10/2/10
We stayed in this hotel at the end of September 2010. And I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a problem with one of the doors and the front desk clerk came up and fixed it immediately, even though it was midnight. I highly recommend this hotel

Already booked for our next visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/7/09
I booked 3 rooms, 2 on the second floor and 1 on the third. All were neat and clean. The breakfast bar was great. The staff were all courtious and made us feel at home. Will be back in one month.

Not so much
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/3/09
Smoking room's and non-smoking rooms directly next to one another, not a good idea! Both of our rooms had leaking faucet's, and one of the TV's had a cable into the back of the TV that had no connecter to it. Some one had broken the screw in part off and just plugged in the "needle". This was reported on our 1st night, but never repaired.

Smelly Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/29/09
Upon arriving and walking through the hallways, we noticed an odor or musty type of smell. When we got to our room, it also had kind of a stale or stagnant odor. We had to open the window to try and make it smell better. The location of the hotel was good, but the upkeep was poor. I will be staying at a different hotel next time, since there were several to choose from.

Poor Upkeep
After we arrived at our room, I found several things that needed repair. The Bathroom door would not close properly and the bedframe was broken ! The windows needed cleaning also. It's too bad that things get broken or need repair but it looks bad on the hotels part if they don't fix these things. I would not recommend this hotel to others !

Broken Bed
The bed I had slept on sagged in the middle when I layed down on it. After looking under the bed I saw that one of the boards from the box spring was broken! After telling the woman at the front desk about it, I got the impression she didn't really care because she did absolutley nothing ! Anyone that is thinking of staying here may want to consider against staying here. I will never be back to this hotel! There are several others out there competing for business.

Pool upkeep, very poor !!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/09
My family and I were very disappointed how the pool had been taken care of. The water was very cloudy, being only 5 ft deep you should be able to see the bottom. This reflects very poorly on the management and those that take care of it. I will not be coming back to this hotel !
