The Overleaf Lodge, Yachats

We have stayed in this hotel many times since it opened in 1997. It has be up graded and added to, so that is is better than brand new. We don't generally stay in hotel that are more than two years old and this hotel will out class other hotels. Breakfast is great and the staff and owners are wonderful.

Had the best room in the hotel which was fabulous. Huge room which contained its own cooking area including a dish washer. Just 30 metres from sea with great views. Nice walks and able to easily get onto beach. Breakfast simple but ok.

This place is awesome. The views from the rooms are incredible, with wonderful walking paths, and huge crashing waves...The attention to detail was unbelievable,there are DVD player, robes, wine glasses, real coffee mugs, micro, frig,flavored creamers in the rooms, and a delicious breakfast with quiche, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, eggs and more...I could go on and on.. The rooms were spacious and beautiful as well. We will definately go back!

My wife and I have stayed on the Oregon Coast numerous times in numerous places. The Overleaf Lodge is the one place we keep coming back to! This hotel has great views of the Pacific Ocean with exciting scenes of waves crashing on rocks everywhere. It is absolutely clean and inviting. The free breakfast that is served in the morning is not just a "continental" breakfast, but one that will keep you going until lunch. There's a walking path along the beach that extends for a few miles that is a must. There's even car windshield wipers in the parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel! It's worth the little extra cash.

We are frequent guests because the Overleaf Lodge is an equal to its oceanfront location. It is attractive, quiet, smoke-free, and pet-free. A very good continental breakfast is served. It also offers exercise equipment, massage, and a coastline trail to a beach. Nearly completed construction will add guest rooms, a game room, and expand common areas. We headquarter here and make the view-filled drive to either Newport, for harbor and ocean activites, or Florence, for sand dune buggy rides. There are resident whales, harbor seals and dolphins frequently seen in the area, often right from your window. We will definitely return again!
