Holiday Inn Express Goodyear, Goodyear

We stopped here for a two night stay, after helping our son and daughter-in-law move from California. After an exhausting drive, we stayed here before continuing our move. The room was clean and It was great to have the mini fridge and microwave for those late night snacks. We were able to stay in touch with other family and read our e-mail with the use of the wifi provided by the hotel. The bed was comfortable and they give you four pillows on the bed. Two soft and two firm, so they please everyone. My firm pillow was just right and I quickly fell asleep and slept like a log, and in the morning I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of cheese omelet, canadian bacon, regular bacon, cinnamon bun and coffee, yum. The next day we spent a fun time in the pool with our grandson and grandpa got to enjoy the hottub. At the front desk, there's a large globe like container and you can have an ice cold glass of flavored water. On the days we were there, they had orange and then lemon flavored water. The young man at the front desk was polite and friendly and we will definitely stay here again when we need a place to stay in this area in the future.

We stopped here on our way back to Texas from California. We had our kids with us (Ages 2, 4 and 11) and after being in a vehicle for a long trip they needed some space. First of all the front desk person was so friendly and made us feel like she cared about us. She also helped us to quickly locate family oriented dining options which saved us some time and travel woes. We got the 2-Room suite which was OUTSTANDING. It was clean, modern and had all the things we needed to be comfortable. If you want a change from the standard hotel/motel stays and you are passing through don't pass up this great place.
