Nothing fancy, but acceptable

This motel is small and older. Nicely located and the staff is extremely pleasant. Very nice complimentary breakfast if you can get near it. Lots of people -- even stuffing their pockets with the food. So I recommend you go early! The rooms are nice, but older, and there was a definite strong odor in our room. We burned some incense to help mask the odor. Smelled old and damp. The hotel allows pets and you will frequently hear barking dogs. So if that's a problem, find a hotel that doesn't take pets. They do have a small indoor pool, but the water in the pool was very cloudy from probably an abundance of chemicals so we didn't try to use it. Anyway, that's what the beach is for!! The night we stayed had a youth baseball team staying there, and they ran up and down the hallways screaming until midnight. Night management of the hotel did not address that issue, and there were a lot of complaining customers the next morning at the front desk. A more expensive hotel may not have this problem. Overall nice, but will probably look at other hotels in the area next time.
