Sedona Real Inn and Suites, Sedona

My family vacation to Sedona was fantastic. We stayed three nights in a suite at the Sedona Reál Inn and it was a memorable experience. The place itself was top notch but what we appreciated the most was the staff and their commitment to a positive experience for our family. They made us feel special and went out of the way to accomadate all our needs and special request. We will most certianly be back to the Sedona Reál Inn!

Loved the rooms but would like to have had a patio or balcony with out paying extra. Rooms were roomy and clean. Liked having the refrigerator and microwave Staff was very nice and helpfull, sent us to a great restuarent "Judi's" wonderfull food and service. Breakfast was very good much more then we expected pretty much a full breakfast selection. Would recommend it to others. w Wheelchair friendly but could have been more accesable on both sides of hotel rooms instead of one side.

We chose this hotel as our "splurge" for our honeymoon. It was so beautiful, we stayed in a jacuzzi/fireplace suite and definitely enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The flat screen was on a swivel so you could see it from the jacuzzi or bed. There was a pair of really nice leather chairs that you squished down into and just relaxed. We also took advantage of the concierge service--who helped us arrange a day tour of the Grand Canyon as well as suggested a good local pizza place! A couple of things we disliked: the online description said "private balcony" but our balcony was anything but--it faced the busy Sedona streets and was narrow and rather unpleasant. It was also very difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room--the thermostat wouldn't go lower than the high 60's, but with a jacuzzi and fireplace--that was too hot!

I love that Sedona Real is a short distance from shopping and great restaurants, but away from the high traffic areas. The pool is relaxing, the rooms are very comfortable, they have many choices from an inexpensive single room, to a 2 bedroom suite with a patio. The breakfast is great, offering many choices. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable. I've stayed many times, recommend it to all my friends and family, and look forward to my next visit.

This motel is in a quieter part of town with a beautiful view. However, DO NOT make the mistake of reserving their basic room. Make sure you have some kind of a suite reserved or you won't be happy. We checked into our double bed room and took one look at it and immediately asked for an upgrade. The bathroom was barely bigger than a closet and very closely resembled the Rest Stops along the interstates. The front desk people were very accomodating and very friendly. You couldn't ask for nicer people. I'm not sure about how secure one could feel since all the doors open to the outside. The room was very clean, but I feel it is very overpriced for what you get. I would not stay here again.

Our room had a bad microwave, so the upgraded us to a SUITE for no cost. The two main problems are a. too close to the street and b. the walls are too thin (got woken up a few times early in the morning). Overall I'd stay here again, but if I wasn't upgraded to the suite I might try another place...

The pool is not as big as appears in the web site, and the "laundromat" is a single apartment-stack washer-dryer. The second floor suite has a bouncy floor and the whole room shakes whenever anyone on the hall shuts their door. The pilot burner in the gas fireplace seems like an out-of-place waste of CO2 and heat in the middle of summer, so much for the "go green" emphasis. The standard window AC seemed a little undersized for the suite, and while the digital temperature gauge is nice, there is no way to leave the fan on all the time (unless the AC is off) to drown out the road noise, so it keeps cycling on and off during the night. Breakfast area has 3 types of juice, toast, cereals, waffles, bagels, yogurt, coffee and milk, real mugs and bowls, but plastic plates, had enough seating for the 8:30am crowd.

had a room reserved: King with smoking with a patio for $89. When I got there they took me to a room that had no patio and absolutely smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was depressing and looked worn. Then he told me that we could go to another room that was newer but that it would cost $145.00 a night. I ended up staying in the room that was in better condition. It overlooked a field of weeds instead of the red rock views. There are no elevators. So be prepared ot either haul your luggage up the steps if you get an upstairs room. Or you have the choice of tipping the concierge to take them upstairs. The air condition never cooled the room. It was raining in Sedona so it was quite humid that night. So I moved up to the front area of the room, that had an air conditioner that ran constantly and slept on the couch. So all in all I paid with tips $167 for a hot room and couch. At checkout had I not told her that the old rate was not right I would have only paid $89. But I stood there for several minutes while they tried to figure out their system and charge me more. I had already told the concierge that the air was not adequate in the room and that I had slept on the couch. I finally told them to send me a copy of the bill and left as I had an appointment to make. So instead of saying "We are sorry for this problem and since you had some issues with the room and we didn't reserve what we said we reserved you on the phone, we will just charge you the first rate we quoted you"...They were happy to send a charge through to my bank account for $157 in which I never received a receipt for in the mail for my business purposes. I will happily pay whatever it takes to avoid this unfriendly and who cares attitude about your customer satisfaction hotel in the future.

We love the rooms here. It was great. We had a great stay even if it was for only one night we will be back. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was breath taken. Great all around.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and this is the place we will stay in the future. The rooms a great and the staff very friendly and very helpful with giving us ideas on what to do in Sedona. I would and will recommend this hotel to anyone...This was better that the 5 Star hotel across the street.....A a great value.
