Khon Kaen Orchid, Khon Kaen

This is the greatest hotel bargain in the world. I come back here just to stay in the hotel because there's not that much going on in and around Khon Kaen. Great buffets also. Most highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel for 2 weeks during my Thailand vaction from Canada. This is the greatest place to stay that I have every been to. The hotel is emaculate for cleanliness. The marble that is everywhere shines. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. They speak english very well, language is not a problem if you speak english. They have an excellent gym, spa and swimming pool on the 4th floor where you can spend a very relaxing afternoon soaking up the sun that shines all the time. Staff at the pool are excellent, they are there with everything you want and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to be in Khon Kaen. Room rates are a real bargain if you compare this hotel to anything in its class in North America.

All services are excellent! We will stay there on our next trip. The personnel are very pleasant to visit with during a stay. We recommend it to any travelers to Khon Kaen.

i like the hotel.its werry nice,i like thr rooms and nithlife.the service is werry good,food cant be better.people ho was working there was always smiling and helpsom too the guest.

The hotel was perfection. The staff was attentive, professional, and outstanding at their jobs. The lobby staff was dressed in beautiful Thai clothes. The lobby itself is gorgeous with a high atrium, shops, plants, fountains, and sculpture. There was entertainment in the lobby during the day (Thai) and the evening (western). The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, although I must admit that my fiance and I had the honeymoon suite. There is a huge spa & exercise rooms, large pool, and great meeting rooms. The hotel is centrally located in KK, much of it within walking distance. This is the only place to stay in KK... I can't wait to go back.

Have stayed here 6 or 7 times - once with my family at Christmas. Outstanding service and luxury at the price - around 1,800 Baht per night.
