JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur

It was my 3rd time stay in this hotel, I always wanted to stay here cause from its location and clean wise, but on my last trip in July 2009,my family and I faced a problem when checking out....I asked for a big van to take us to the airport, cause of my luggage, but they ended up with the small taksi, and i have to take my two small bags in the cargo..which they have suggested me to take and will reach you within 3 days maximum. But to my disappointment i ended up paying 900 Ringet, which is alot to pay for that small items, their excause was that airline will not accept your luguage as it too much.you will pay alot in the airport. When i reach home, it took me around 9-10 days to receive it then to pay another custum fee to get it. Wasn't worth it anyway, cause all the chocolate from Genting highland was melted. Be careful to those who ask to help you infront of the hotel lubby. as they wanted their tips from the cargo. I have a doubt not to visit this hotel again.

I was really impressed by this hotel. It was very fancy and elegant. Its location is excellent for shopping. Right accross the street was the Pavilion (an excellent mall) , and for a few minutes walk you can find many other shopping centers. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to stay at a high-class hotel.

Everything is top notch. I was posted to KL for 61 straight days, and the JW was my home. Nothing bad in all that time, and all was perfect.

i recently stayed at the J W Marriott in KL on two different occasions. from check in to check out, i experienced first class treatment. the staff was very friendly and extremely nice. the rooms were well appointed and the mattresses were excellent. i would stronly recommend this hotel as it is close to entertainment, shopping and restruants. english is widely spoken which makes it great for the westerner traveling. i would highly recommend this hotel. also, one of the few nice hotels that provides free internet in the room.

extremely happy and impressed by the service we have received at the JW Marriott KL which has been of a tremendously high standard and are delighted by the proactive action taken by the staff. I will definitely communicate my satisfaction to all my friends and colleagues.

Firstly I thought that I will stay in a great 5 stars hotel in KL.. but I'm totally wrong.the hotel is Ok. The room is nice.. but the service is awful !The receptionist's manner is so bad. No smiles, no greetings, and didn't respect us as 'valued' customers! we lost our money in our unlocked bag in the room. Just be carefull.. this hotel is not save! when I reported this matter to one of the hotel manager, she did NOT even apologise to us.. she just asked some questions and wheter we would like to report it to the security or not. our stay in KL is unenjoyable.not feel secure because of this problem. our stay in JW Marriot is dissaponting! we 'll never go back to stay there!

Was totally dissappointed by the service. Checking in involved being ignored eventhough I was standing at the counter. Granted I was in a t-shirt and shorts, but Im from canada and its hot in M'sia. I had made reservations but it took them 10mins to tell me they couldnt find it, was rude and made it look like I was wasting their time. So after 30mins I was still standing at the counter. Not staying there again

I stayed at the Marriott 2 years ago. It was on Valentine's day and the hotel was quite full. Luckily we had prior reservations. Service was quite slow but that was understandable, as it was Valentine's and there were many couples checking into the hotel. I was very impressed with the room. Though we chose the cheapest room type available, the room was large and very beautiful. The bathroom was very nice and oozed of luxury. The hotel has a prime location in the strip of Jalan Bukit Bintang. Room rates are quite pricey though and doesn't include breakfast. You should definitely stay here if your budget permits

This is the first hotel I've been to that actually has FREE high speed broad band internet connection in the room ready to plug into your laptop. The room is beautiful, the bed is huge, the service is prompt; and right on the edge of the best shopping district in KL. I wish all hotels would raise to this standard.
