Mostly a bad place to stay

If a good night's rest is what you are looking for, don't stay here. The walls are paper thin, the housecleaners hoot and holler at 8am. I paid $140 per night and was surprised how crappy this place was. Wifi didn't work right, AC unit didn't either (continually ran, off didn't work so unplugged it.) Only thing that was good about the joint was the helpful kitchen and wait staff, pleasant front-desk personnel and it's near the interstate.

Excellent Desk Clerk

My experience at Courtyard Gainesville was above average. The room was clean and neat, and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. A particular desk clerk, Mandy, was highly professional and assisted me throughout my visit. I would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling. There was a Target across the street and a Steak and Shake just a few steps off the hotel property. Great if you have kids.

Just another hotel

The desk staff was very helpful and courteous. The cleaning staff was not. I found a pink hair curler (with hair in it) in my room one day, yet I was the only one staying in the rooom . . . .The cleaning staff also cranked the a/c up every day, so by the time I got back from work, the room was an ice box.
