Hwy Express Inn & Suites, Lancaster

I absolutely loved my stay at this motel! The staff was friendly, hospitable, and very accommodating. The room was also very clean. I also loved that this motel is closely situated to downtown dallas! i normally don't write reviews, but I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Upon arriving at the location the hotel looks nice and the grounds / exterior is in order. at check in the person at the lobby desk had some issues speaking English but that was handled and I was provided with a suite I requested. This is where the hotel falls apart. The super 8 website shows a nice and well appointed room, this isn't correct at all. The hotel is in need of MAJOR renovation. The rooms are in VERY poor condition, only appliance that is actually in the room as stated on the website is a small refrigerator, and TV. NOTHING ELSE IS IN THE ROOM, no microwave or hair drier, no Iron. The rooms are in terrible shape, the TV blearily works and has no remote. The rooms aren't to clean and have mosquito problems inside the rooms. With all the hotels in the area within this price range, this one just doesn't make the grade. This hotel is strongly advised against until it can be gutted and remodeled. Also the hotel HAS NO INTERNET that works, you must connect to the wi-fi signal from the Mexican food place next door!

we liked it real well,my Son was in the va haspital, work real well ,for us. nice place clean.we had good room servicethe people at the front desk were nice.
