This was the worst place i have ever checked in at. The lobby was decent, but when we walked around the building to the side entrance the smell in the hallway was enough to sting my nostrils and make my eyes water. The carpet was something from a casino, like there had been way to many beers spilt. When we got to our room it was a little better, but upon futrher inspection we started to find, things. dirty stained curtains, spongie stained carpet, cigarette burns on the countertops, ducktape on the floor. The gap under the door was enough to stick fingers through. I feel like i was duped by the pictures and reviews. After an hour in the room we checked out and went to another hotel. This room looks like it was rented by the hour and a massive party took place. I understand that this is a extended stay hotel, but if i left my previous appartments looking like this i would have had outrageous bills to pay for cleaning. If your a chain smoker then this is the place for you, but not for my 2 year old and wife.

We were booked at another hotel through a .com company and when we arrived there it was not nice and could not accommadate the 5 of us. We then got booked at Homestead which was a lot nicer.. We only stayed 2 nights and it was nice. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and professional. Did have an issue with the light in the shower not working and took them a day to fix it. For those who have written that there was no shampoo or ice or room service, this is an extended stay hotel, which means people can live there. There are refridgerators for ice, and laundry facilities. It's definitely not for short term lodging unless you want to pay for certain things. My family and I had a nice stay.

I was taking my daughter to college and had booked another hotel online. When I arrived to the original hotel it was nasty. The staff were rude and I had requested a non smoking rm BUT was given a filthy snoked filled rm. I left in search of a different hotel. I called Homestead and they had a rm left. When I arrived the staff were very curtious, friendly and helpful. I had a rm near the pool with a grill right outside. The rm was more than I expected and was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone

The front desk receptionist was professional but not welcoming or friendly. The room was very small... it was not a suite. The connecting service door had 1 1/2 inch gap underneath. We did not feel we had privacy so we put something to block the gap. We were able to hear our neighbor quite clearly... thin walls. We could not find ice anywhere. No frills hotel... the only complimentary item we were given in the room were 2 bars of soap and an extra roll of toilet paper, that was it. We would not return to this hotel.
