Built of century old timbers, with bright elegant rooms, deep soaking tubs, fireplaces, down comforters and balconies. Our 2-bedroom cottages, featured in the November 2009 issue of Sunset magazine, boast full kitchens, fireplaces and wonderful indoor and outdoor living space. We serve an organic breakfast buffet each morning, and have a small, intimate bar. Home of The Little Spa, guests enjoy spa treatments and our Finnish sauna. Staff is outstanding

Stayed for 3 nights. Not sure what to do, but checked in with the staff of natives, and they were more than willing to jump in and assist us. Gave us outstanding advise. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Breakfast is gormet and plenty of good food, and contains a cold buffet of cereal and fresh fruit. Early September fire in the fireplace in the library was a nice addition.

Outstanding Vacation

Our experience at The Alpine House was everything we could have expected and more! The staff was very helpful and made sure all of our needs and requests were met. My husband had requested extra pillows in our room when we made the reservation and when we arrived the extra bedding was already placed in our room. We ALWAYS ask for this special request and very rarely is it followed through!!! The breakfast was OUTSTANDING every single morning and the rooms made us feel we were right out home.
