Great hotel, but noisy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/06
I loved the hotel and the service, but that can not make up for the train that comes by every hour through the night. I stayed there for a weekend and hardly feel a sleep! I should have figured out something was up when I saw earplugs on my pillow! If you have a hard time falling asleep with noise this is not the place for you - the train runs right next to the hotel.

Great Stay
By Stephanie, 11/17/05
My husband and I stayed here as a place to get away, just the two of us. It was wonderful. The service was great. I had absentmindedly forgotten my jacket and we were headed to a Ducks game. Well, they had fleece jackets for sale. I still wear it all the time and we stayed there over a year ago. Our room was on the lower level of the carriage house. It was small, but cozy and had everything we needed. It did seem a little spendy (read: small room) but it was for a lover's getaway, so I didn't mind spending the extra $. We had breakfast the next morning in the dining room and were treated to wonderful food. My husband and I still rave about the toffee scones we had. Overall, I'd certainly stay there again. Though next time I'd rather have a larger room.
