Citadines Ramblas Barcelona, Barcelona

We visited Barcelona in March 2006 and stayed at Citidines Ramblas.Our unit was 216 and was a clean large unit. It did not have a view of the Ramblas because we had asked for a quiet room in the back. But there was a restaurant in the back and there were often barking dogs at night. The alternative is to keep the large balcony doors closed. There is no room service or any service whatsoever. There is no bed. Only a pull-out sofa. I asked for additional towels at the desk and was charged (at checkout) 7 Euro's ($8.40) for them. This was not to buy the towels, just for additional ones.There is no clothes washer in the unit. There is no dishwasher. You must wash dishes by hand. I would have rather stayed at a hotel on the Ramblas and had the services and the care of a hotel rather than this place that was costly and offered nothing except a room.
