Amazing service!
By S. Hutchins, 10/23/07
This is a beatiful place and the service is amazing, with amazing staff who seemed so genuine, and so helpful, but were also low-key and unobtrusive. It would be good to know how they do things on the environmental front so you can feel a bit less guilty. There was not mention or promotion of any "green' policies, such as recycling of rubbish, where the sewerage goes etc (and we would have liked to know). Despite us asking that it not happen, our towels were replaced everyday, and there's a little rubbish dumb behind the walking track between the resorts near the Gulai Restaraunt.

Spectacular Location - Excellent Service
By Adrian, 03/29/07
Organised a conference of 80 senior managers from around the world for 3 days here. Everything went exactly as planned (And beyond expectations in some) - note that expectations of business minded managers are different from holidaymakers. We knew it would have been easier to just host in KL logistically, but we wanted something special and took on the challenge. Wifi in the rooms was unreliable but we knew this, and mitigated by having full agenda - it is after all, holiday resort first and foremost. BBQ at terrace, The Gulai House experience (With Cultural show), and a teambuilding event at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is hard to beat. Yes the meals are pricey if you are on holiday and on a budget, but good value for what you get which is food comparable to KL's finest restaurants. Cannot wait to go back one day.

Nice but overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/07/05
A very nice hotel, but not at all worth the price when similar to better hotels in Thailand for much less.

Simply Superb!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/04
My fiance and I initially booked for 5 nights, but extended our stay to 6.Simply superb place, white, sandy, secluded stretch of beach with tiny baby crabs running when the tide comes in. Every tiny detail of your stay, even before you check-in,is coordinated to perfection. No noisy large families with babies and screaming children. It was one of the best French cuisine we have tasted in Malaysia at the hotel restaurant and they treat you like a queen at the spa. Only turndown was the escalating prices and the hotels' distance from civilisation. Recommended for couples heading for a secluded retreat to paradise. We are thinking of holding our beach wedding party at the Andaman!Paradise!
