Room DOWN GRADE -- Traveler Beware

I have stayed at this hotel 5 or more times over the last 3-4 years, and the service continues to get worse. My most recent arrival was greeted with a DOWN GRADE in room, of which I did not discover until I went up to the room.
When I called the front desk, I was hung up on. So I gathered my bags, and went back down to get the room selection I made for my reservation. The front desk clerk told me I was mistaken and had specifically reserved a King size Wheelchair accesible room. I had to pull out my laptop and show him my confirmation, to which he replied must have been a computer problem. Sorry that is all we have.
It was not until I began calling the customer service number that he discovered that in fact my room selection had been changed by someone in their properties. Even then all I was offered was a DOWNGRADED selection. No attempt was made to locate a similiar reserved room from a neighboring property.
Although I have stayed at this location many times, never again. In fact, many of the Holiday Inn Express locations in Lexington have the same management. So traveler beware!
