bed bugs give me itches

definately will not be staying here. Could not understand the front desk clerk who answered the phone and kept asking me make reservation. Can not believe the Bed Bug Complaints! how disgusting!

Corrupt hotel manager

The Indian hotel manager was completely corrupt and extremely rude. The last day of our stay he refused to store our luggage for 2 hours while we went to watch the Tonight Show with Jay Leno unless we paid $35. He requested cash. When I asked to pay by credit card, he refused at first, but relented and increased the price to $40. His answers to my questions of why he was charging us, why he wouldn't accept credit card, and why he was increasing the charge went rudely unanswered. When I requested the top manager's phone number, he refused and told us to get out. Clearly he was going to pocket the money himself.

bed bugs--NASTY hotel

i stay at this hotel to wake up to bed bugs all over my body. I had at least 100 bites over me. I have sent an inspector to this hotel and i am planning on suing them. If anyone has had problems pls post your email and i will give you info on suing them. I have pictures and a doc report.

More Bed Bugs!

Woke up to bed bugs on my pillow the first night. The front desk promptly moved me to another room and thoroughly cleaned the hotel (stripped all the beds, vacuumed, etc). However, I was traveling with a large group and 4 of us had bites, even after the cleaning. There was also mold in the bathrooms and stains on the sheets that provided evidence of long-term bed bug problems. I am now trying to insure that I didn't bring any of the critters home with me.

bed bugs

room 211 was full of bed bugs. discustingly nasty! We had to take all of our clothing out of our suitcases when we returned home for fear of bringing the bugs and their eggs in our home. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel comped us for one night, moved us to another room and gave us 50% off of the remaining two nights. We should have been comped for the entire stay and a personal appology from the manager. I requested 5 times to speak to him and was told that he was nt in but was expected. He never tried to contact me which as very unprofessional. The whole vacation was terrible, I felt buggy and crawley for several weeks after returning home.

Another Bug PROBLEM!!

Stayed at this hotel last night and woke to bites all over my body. BEWARE!! Do not stay at this hotel. The reviews were right! I checked out and will attempt to get my money back as soon as I am not so creeped out!

Great place and affordable

Didn't really dislike anything about my stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites. As soon as we got into Hollywood, we looked at other motels in the area and this was absolute best for our budget. Before coming to the Comfort Inn we had gone to the Holiday Inn. The motel room we were shown at the Holiday Inn smelled like mildew and we would have to pay a 200.00 deposit, which they were uncertain that we would even get back. Luckily, we saw the Comfort Inn and were very pleased when we were shown a room. We decided to stay. The room service was polite and prompt. The rooms were neat, clean and smelled fresh. poor customer service

After reading the numerous negative and some positive reviews I decided to cancel my reservation. The bed bugs and poor customer service reports were my utmost concern. Well, what do you know, I attempted to cancel via phone and was told to standby. I heard conversations, some in english and some in ???. 13:37 min. later the phone was picked up and hung up. Nothing....I called again and the same person answered. I informed him of why I was calling back and he took my information and informed me it was cancelled. A very decent place for a great price.

Pros: Inquiring was quick and clear. I asked about the rooms available, amenities, rates and parking, and they were able to explain it well enough. Making the reservation and checking in were easy, too. I did not have any problems at all. When I got to the hotel, I am impressed that their parking space is not crowded. When I got in the room, everything was neat and in place. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. They have cable tv, and surprisingly, they have free wireless internet. They have cabinets for our belongings, desks, a safe and a microwave oven. They also offer free breakfast. The hotel is close to Hollywood Blvd. and Universal Studios. Cons: I got lost getting to the hotel. Probably because I am not familiar with the place. If I printed all the turns going there, that would not have happened. And it is hard to make that left turn, but I guess that is up to the driver's strategy.

Beware

Customer service is horrible, and God help you if you leave anything at this hotel. There appears to be no management on site. Jay (manager/owner) "did not come in today", per hotel employees when I called every day for two weeks. I was also told there is no assistance manager, nor anyway to reach Jay if there is an emergancy. I was told to have someone pick up my property, and that I would have to have it shipped to me,(ok my bad for leaving it there). I did this, following their insturctions, and paying $60.00 to do so. Upon the arrival of my property, I was shocked and furious to learn that they had given the carrier two bags of pillows and a blankets that did not belong to me, but in fact belonged to the hotel. As of Dec. 28, 2006 I've still not spoken to a Jay, managment, nor has my issues been resolved. Beware; Do not stay at this hotel.
