We will keep coming back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/08
We spent three nights here and loved it! The biggest reason was the staff. Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean, conveniently located to Dollywood, and the pool area was great. It was not next to the parking lot like in most hotels. The price was reasonable and the room layout was perfect for our family's needs. We will be back again and again.

No place like the Great Smokies
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/18/07
I have stayed at several places in Pigeon Forge over the years and I go several times a year. I only live about 2 hours from Pigeon Forge and not a once have I ever encountered a problem out of any of the LOCALS who provide service there. This includes theme park staff, hotel personel, resturant workers you name it. I hate to inform the person who left the hard bed comment...that "honey, when you stay at a hotel thats not the Ritz-Carlton you might have to settle for something a little less than a pillow top matteress for the night, unless you want to pay the Ritz-Carlton PRICE!! As for me I will continue visiting the Great Smokies because they are in fact the GREAT Smokies! I love this place and wouldn't trade any vacation to the beach for it. As for the staff at the Ramada I think you guys do a wonderful job at many of your locations. If you guys were so awful I definately wouldn't keep giving you all my business. Can't wait to see ya'll this weekend.

NEVER AGAIN!
By Tam, 04/11/07
We went there for our Anv. The room we had was once an office or part of the exerice room. It had higher ceilings and you could tell they changed it into a room. We had planned to stay for 4 nights, after the 2nd night we asked for a refund, and went and rented a cabin for the remainder of our stay there. The Jacuzzi was way small. The bed was hard. The couch was hard. The desk clerk told us to walk up a few blocks away to catch the trolley, when we did there was a sign saying that the trolley didn't run when dollywood was open to that stop. So the desk clerk was not informed enough to give out info. Our whole experience there was BAD..Would never go again!....For 25.00 more a night we got a 3 story, 3 bedroom, hottub, jacuzzi, full kitchen, plus more. So it was worth the 25 bucks more...

pros: great place to stay. great people and service. cons: had to walk a bit to get to the main strip of town. hard on the older people, they would have to drive.
