Our room had a terrible "wet carpet" smell. When we got to our room it was open, with a carpet fan working to evaporate the moisture in the carpet. The front desk "didn't know" the status of the room and no other rooms were available. It was too late to care at the time, but looking back on it, I was way too patient and can't recommend the staff for any customer service awards.
Also, I've learned this before, but learned my lesson yet again. "Hot Breakfast included" is only available as long as the food lasts... and not until the posted time. We arrived in the eating area 30 minutes before the posted conclusion of breakfast and got coffee and a frozen bagel. If you're counting on breakfast, be there early.
The best thing was the brevity of our stay.
