Ask about free access to the Health Spa across the Highway. If your room doesn't have the Frig/Microwave or VCR make sure you ask for it!! Great breakfast at 5:30 till about 9 AM.. Warm cookies Mon-Thurs about 4-5PM. Make sure you visit Shiprock Fleamarket on Saturday for Native American Jewelry/Pottery etc. See Mesa Verde, Monument Valley Aztec Ruins. Don't waste it on 4 Corners Monument, it's only a bump in the road.

My family stayed here.Its a great place too stay they have a great pool and great breackfast!!!!Great rooms it better that the other express. Its also by the Scate Way USA!!!

overbooked but not overlooked

we were informed upon arrival (as were 9 others) that the hotel was overbooked. that was a bummer, but the young man at the desk served us with real professionalism. he found another hotel a short distance away (stepbackinn, Aztec, NM)and picked up the cost of the night. the other hotel was a cute little place and fit our travel plans just fine even though he was under incredible pressure and scruntiny he help up well and did his job with the highest degree of integrity. he set a real example that I pointed out to my children and because of his efforts i was willing to overlook the problem. unfortunately, i can't rate the rest of the hotel, although the lobby was nice!:)

Very Nice for an Express

Very spacious and has a lot of the "little things" that you don't find even in other Holiday Inn Express's. They even have a water purifier in the room, very rare but a lot better than the tap water.
