Aspen Winds, Estes Park

HC, Aspen, mountains, a river, a king bed, a fireplace and a micro for popcorn! We've stayed there at least four times. Very gracious hosts. Clean suites. Its small and so quiet we leave the windows open at night to listen to the river--its that close! Each suite deck has its own glorious aspen clump--amazing to return each year to see how much taller they are. We need handicap accessibly and Aspen Winds works for us/a larger electric chair. The bath has room for a lift and there is space beside the bed for the wheelchair.(Its often hard to find a king bed in the HC room, let alone a fireplace and deck! (Deck threshold was too high for the driving lock-in on the bottom of the new chair, but will make some small ramps for next time.)

I found about Aspen Winds in internet and reading the reviews helped me choose,so I just wanted to share my experience too.For first time what I read and saw as pictures in internet was exactly what we found on site.We stayed in the in-spa suite and it was just gorgeous.Very spacious,very clean and cozy,everything was just shining.When you go out on the deck the first thing you see and hear is the river and the birds.The staff, Phil and his family are just great.Nobody is disturbing you in the morning or whenever.You can sign up for using the outdoor hot tub and have it just for yourselves.I will deffinitely never forget my stay there and will go there again.I highly reccommend the Aspen Winds for people celebrating anniverssaries,birthdays,looking for privacy and good rest.

My husband and I have stayed here and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. We enjoy the view and sounds of Fall River, the wildlife, and the peace and serenity at Aspen Winds. I hope anyone interested in visiting RMNP and Estes Park will do themselves a great service by staying and enjoying Aspen Winds.

This place is outstanding. I've stayed there twice and Phil and his family are more than accomodating to their guests. The Elk walk right up to your back door during mating season and if your wish to relax with a cup of coffee and a newspaper in the morning, there are swings in back of the units along the rippeling Fall RIver for you to enjoy. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was very clean and spacious. Very quiet also. We were there in June 2005 and enjoyed it thoroughly. Hope to go back some day.

I love this place! I stay here at least two nights while in Estes Park. My parent swear by this place, and Phil and his family are awesome!

we stayed at aspen winds in estes park in august 2004. It is right on fall river and it is the most relaxing beautiful resort i have ever been to. the room we stayed in had a fireplace and a deck that over looked the river and the mountains. the room was exceptionally clean, and the owners were very nice. we will definately stay here again.
