I booked rm 227 thru Orbitz for 3 nights and was RIP'D OFF! Orbitz charged me $350.30 for 3 nights and when I checked out my checkout reciept said $284 and it wasnt my credit card #!! So Orbitz pocketed $66+ at my exspense! Nowhere on the site did I see anything about a $66+ booking fee!! It was my first time booking online and my last time. Next time I will call the hotel and book my room directly thru them. I thought Orbitz and other agencies like them were there to help you get a lower rate if you book online. I pratically paid them the price of another night at the hotel! Well I'll be checking out small claims on this matter. As far as the hotel!! It was great! The room was spacious, clean and accommodating! The bed and pillows were like cotton. The shower was heavenly. Didnt get the chance to use the whirlpool but I will next time. I would definately recommend this hotel to couples or families. I would definately stay here again! Didnt get the chance to take advantage of the pool or weight room but I will check them out in the future because I will be staying here when visiting Springfield as long as they have a vacancy!! I just really enjoyed myself and didnt want to leave! It was truelly like a home away from home! So eventho I was ripped off by Orbitz and didnt know it until after the fact, it would have been worth paying the $105.67 but I would have rather paid the real price per night and saved the money for other things. So if possible reserve your room with Comfort Suites thru the hotel! After staying here you will not be disappointed! I am so glad I did and wouldnt change it for the world! What a great find. We have been travelling for a month and staying at Comfort Inns and Suites. This is the best we have found. We highly recommend it and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the pool was great. the service was great. i would stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. Several places to dine were very close by and easy to walk to. I loved the whirlpool bathtub. Indoor pool was small but I loved the outdoor patio.

This place was perfect. Check in was speedy, the staff was helpful and friendly. Everything was immaculate, the room was big, had lots of surprises. microwave, wetbar, refridgerator, big whirlpool bathtub, large roomy bathroom, dvd player (you could rent movies in the lobby), the furniture was comfy, the beds were luxurious. down pillows and comfortors. The pool was nice, small, and warm. There was a computer with complimentary access to the internet in the lobby for guests, a small exercise room, and lastly, the breakfast was great, something for everyone, a real money saver for a family if your trying to cut corners on retaurant bills while traveling. I will only stay here in the future when in Springfield. Illinois family

Great service and staff during our stay. Only setback was pool was being filled and it was a little cold for the kids (but understandable). Staff answered all questions and assisted us with everything we needed with a smile and great effort....highly recommend, will stay again.

I have stayed at the comfort inn suites on south Dirksen pkwy the last two years now on business.I realy enjoy the whirlpook in my room it helps to relax while on business,you can't find many hotels with in room whirlpools. Thanks for a good night stay. Georgia

this room was not as roomy as some of the other choice hotels we've been to, although the 2 person whirlpool bath was very nice and relaxing. the breakfast was good and eating area very clean. the exercise room was a joke, very old equipment and in view of everyone. the manager on duty argued with my husband about giving us a rollaway bed, which i thought was not very good customer service. even though our room had a double sofa pull out bed, our boy and girl did not want to share a bed. pretty clean and nice overall stay though.
