One of the best places Camden has to offer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/07
We've stayed in the Camden area before, in dated motels with uncomfortable beds, etc. and decided to upgrade to the Riverhouse this trip. It did not disappoint! The staff is extremely helpful both with local information and personal assistance. The "landscaping" is beautiful, and there are many pleasant public areas to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing.
The location can't be beat. In season, parking is difficult in town so having Camden's shops and eateries within walking distance is one of the hotel's big plusses. There are several back streets leading to Rte 1 North and South enabling one to avoid the conjestion of the main shopping area and pedestrian traffic.
Rooms are decent-sized, wireless internet access easily available (as well as public computer stations), and room refrigerators were a great surprise. There is a wheel-chair accessible ramp leading to the 2nd floor registration area which is a big help when wheeling in luggage. The only thing I'd add to my wish-list is a larger bathroom.
