Place Could Not Meet Days Inn Standards

I stayed at the motel last year when it was a Days Inn. I was not expecting the Ritz, but had some prior experience with Days Inns and expected at least a comfortable and clean, if not luxury stay. The hotel was not up to Days' minimal standards. I was very dissapointed. The room was dirty and the furniture in disrepair. The toilet did not flush properly and the air conditioner smelled awful and was noisy. Had issues with hot water and the management was both rude and unhelpful. Noticed that it is no longer a Days Inn and is operating as an independent. I would not stay there again as there are other choices nearby.

Would not recommend

My husband has stayed at hotels quite often on business and he said that our check-in took longer than he had ever experienced. The person checking us in didn't seem to know what he was doing. We booked a non-smoking room and got a smoking room Don't use the pool because it looks just filthy. My husband tried to take a shower in the evening with no hot water and when I wanted to take one in the morning there was still no hot water. Also after going to breakfast, my keycard would not work in the door. DO NOT STAY HERE.

mold in toliets

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. When we got to our room the bed was not made and there was beer cans every where. When we went down to complain there was a man already complaining about mold going in his toliet and how bad his room was. Our keys also did not work. We asked for a manager and the guy behind the desk stated "that he only folds towels and no manager on the weekends." NEVER STAY HERE !

Never stay again.....

This place was the nightmare to stay at. First of all you can hardly understand the people that run it. We got our first room and the heater broke: they moved us to another room and the keycards didnt work, blow dryer broke, and coffeepot wouldn't fix coffee like it should have. We tried to get a refund on our stay and was refused. They knew of the heater and blow dryer and keycards and we decided after that was no use in complaining anymore. Anytime you left you got stopped from the owner/operator and I did not stay there to be pestered from the operators. Other than that West Bend, Wisconsin is a very friendly town and I would revisit again but not stay at this particular hotel/motel.
