Casa Cockroach
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/09
Our stay started with a snarky front desk employee, a cockroach running across the bathroom floor (know it was a cockroach cause we took it to the front desk to ask what it was -- killed three in our one night stay), the staff (cocktail waitresses, craps table employees) were very rude. The housekeeping staff, security people and morning staff in the kitchen were really great. It is an adventure to stay here..won't do it again.

LOVE MESQUITE AND CASABLANCA
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/09
My husband and I go to Mesquite at least 2x a year-I would only stay at Casablanca-it is a great value-a nice hotel and casino in a beautiful setting! You can't beat their package deals or room rates-come on $49/59 a night? The drive from Las Vegas is gorgeous, we have stopped in little towns along the way and scouted out the local restaurants many times. There are several fantastic golf courses nearby, again the views are breathtaking and we always spend time by the great pool area. I have also used the spa and even had my hair cut there! Our room has always been clean and comfortable, no complaints. I suppose anyone can have a bad experience anywhere but since we have stayed at Casablanca at least a dozen times in the last few years I say it is a wonderful travel bargain!

We go every year, great place and awesome pool!
By Joyce, 09/22/08
We stay there every year, and love the place. They have a great pool with a water slide and waterfall. Everyone is very friendly, and never had a bad meal there. For the people that complain, they should try some of the other casinos, and they'd find out that it's the best.

aok but....
By desert dame, 08/11/08
We stay here and always have a good time BUT the front desk needs more training. We tried several times to get thru to them (nothing major) on the phone from our room - to no avail. Also, rooms weren't ready :( Housekeeping staff is AWESOME tho and were friendly and accomodating. Starbucks people need a heads up for the early a.m. shift as they are grumpy!! It's sad when service people dont realize that they represent the resort! SMILE!

Don't waste your money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/08
We had a minor issue and the GM would not respond. I can't imagine what would happen with a major issue. The buffet was very limited and barely edible. Security quickly told us the pool was off limits after hours so we got to sit in the jacuzzi with a bunch of guys smoking cigars and glass beer bottles everywhere. Security must have overlooked that. Across the street is Oasis casino, their sister property and is in need for serious updating and cleaning.

Happy Customer
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/08
What a great place for a vacation from the cold of Colorado!!!!!! My golf group is in HEAVEN for a week in May! We try to get in as much golf as we can, and the Casa Blanca is a great place to go and unwind after a great day of golf.

Unprofessional for Customer Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/05/08
My Husband and I stayed for a night that included dinner, spa and golf with coworkers, all at the Expense of my husbands Company. We decided to pay for an additional night and did so paying cash.. We received our receipt from their Front Desk Supervisor. BIIIIIG MISTAKE!!! As we got up the next morning we decided to go home due to crappy food, horrible service, rude staff and the beds were uncomfortable. We approached the front desk to check out and to get our money back. They refused to give us our cash after we provided the receipt. They informed us that they would need to check serveillance cameras and check into the matter. Rule # 1 Customer is always right. After returning home to Vegas, we contacted the Hotel Manager and left a voicemail message. That Monday morning I phoned the Hotel Manager again and asked where is our refund? Claiming that they need to research, yet we will get our money back... 10 Days has passed and still no refund. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointed and will never go back. You can get better service at the MCDonald's next door and better food at that.

Don't expect a non-smoking room.
By CarenC, 07/30/07
Three parties made reservations over a month in advance and arrived about 4:00pm. Rates were $70 + 9% tax. None of us got non-smoking rooms. I asked why and got a lame excuse about tour groups and that they have very few non-smoking rooms. I guess tour groups and smokers have preference. Another thing; the internet wasn't free. You have to go through an online service provider and pay $10/day (plus tax and fees?). They ask for all kinds of info. to pay by credit card. Forget it! The pool was very nice and they have a golf course. I'm staying at the Eureka Hotel in Mesquite next week and will rate it.

Great Fun!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/07
My wife and I loved it! Yes, the buffet is a little weak but the Casablanca has very fine dining that is excellent. I strongly recommend Katherine's. It was outstanding as was the service. People that pay only $59 a night need to get a clue. This was not only a pleasent surprise but an excellent value!

Terrible buffet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/07/07
We just went to your casino and had the buffet. It was the worst buffet we ever went to in our lives. How could you possibly call that a buffet, no carving station, only chicken, terrible looking porkchops and spareribs. Everything else was starches. The desserts were almost gone by 1pm. The hotel and casino itself was very nice. The atmosphere was great.
