Housekeeping took 1 of my daughters Ugg boots (value $150) from our room Hotel claims I have no proof. This gives Marriot staff the OK to enter your hotel room and intentionally/unintentionally take what they like and there will not be any consequences for them. I will never feel safe in a Marriot again.

We love Philadephia and try to go about twice a year. Market St is the best location for your hotel stay. 12th and 13th have great shops, el vez, capogiro and much more. The hotel was awesome. we were there the same time as the san fran 49ers but you would never know. Nothing was restricted and staff did not treat you like you were less important. Room was clean and modern. Side note the parking is 38 a night. not too bad but just in case your wondering.

We stayed here for a convention. The location is great (next to the convention center) as was the staff at the check in desk. But the rooms left a little to be desired. The tv was old, there was supposed to be a MP3 hookup on the clock radio, but it was not there, there was no wi-fi (only dial-up if you want to pay 25 cents a minute) there was no refrigerator or microwave. These are not essential, but when you pay the price they charge, you expect a little more. I also did not think the beds were all that comfortable. On the positive side, the bathroom was large, good shower and the air conditioning worked well without freezing you out. We got stuck in an elevator, it dropped and rocked three times. We rang the alarm and no one heard it. After finding the phone near the floor, someone answered and sent a crew to help. It was scary but didn't seem out of the ordinary to them. Will I stay here again, probably not. There are plenty of hotels in this city.

+ Good location, walkable to tourist attractions. + Helpful staff + Gym + Pool - I thought the internet charges were unreasonable. It was $0.25 per minute charge for using internet with your own computer in the room. Same fee for using computer in business center.

Pros: Very big and open, nice conference rooms and lounge. Kinkos in lobby. Great people in the Concierge Lounge. Good location. Cons: My room was on the 23rd floor, but a friend on a lower floor had a fridge?! Towels had funny smell and room in general. TV cabnets are old and need replacing. Door fell off on friend foot when being moved to open to TV. Old wall paper. Didn't get consistent turndown service. Empty cups and glasses were left on table as well.

We arranged a wedding room block at this hotel for our guests. A month before our guests deadline to book thier rooms, they decide that they will not offer the rooms to us anymore because they can get someone else to reserve the rooms for a higher rate. Bottom line, they screwed us, the contract we had with them ...for the $$$. Not only that ,they were horrible to work with from day one.

I loved it so much. I was their bbecause I was doing a modiling tryout. I loved it so much because it was rite next to hard rock cafe. Im a guitarist so I like the suroundings Thats all I have to say! in addition to virtually EVERY employee there greeting you with a smile and a friendly catch phrase, they went outof there way when it came to detailed customer service. it was roughly 3:00AM with my " do not disturb" sign on my door. there was a knock, i was very alarmed. somebody knocking on yoru hotel room that late is very alarming. thinking it was the wrong room somebody was knocking on, i went back to sleep. then about 45 minutes later it happened again. this time i got up and looked throug the peephole. i saw a security guard there. i asked him what was up. he said that he wanted to make sure everything was ok, because the front desk noticed my phone was off the hook.( it was, never knew it) it was well worth being woken up for that. not many other hotels or people for that matter would give such detail to customer care so late at night. that alone will make me go back there again, and not consider ANY OTHER HOTEL, not even with price a consideration. i mean, would you really not want to spend a few extra bucks to make sure that somebody will be watching your back along with your loved ones? clean hotel. outstanding service, and great value. recommed to everyone. thank you!
