South Branch Inn, Moorefield

This hotel is a pleasant surprise for a smallish community. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location is handy to Corridor H. Price is right, and if you have time, there's a nice movie theater, bowling alley, and fun mexican restaurant nearby. All in all, a great value.

The hotel is very clean. The staff if very pleasant to work with and there are always rooms available. The hotel is missing basic amenities like irons and ironing boards in the rooms, a business center & elevators.

My wife and I had to get a place upon our arrival to West Virginia. We were traveling from Maryland for a family wedding. We walked in at 1:00am in the morning and we were greeted by 2 polite desk clerks. These polite people got us in our room in a matter of minutes.One thing I miss about West Virginia is everyone is so polite not something you get in the city. Thank you. When asked where we are staying when we travel to West Virginia my choice is now the South Branch Inn. Thanks for making your hotel so inviting.

The South Branch Inn is just about the only game in town and they certainly act like they have a monopoly on the market. The rooms are noisy and the staff is amazingly rude. You may find the numerous posted threats to fine you $50.00 for infractions and violations of the �guest policies�, such as muddy boots in the room, etc. One has to wonder who they normally cater to when they demand a photo id from every person registering. This place is way over priced and on our return to Moorefield, we plan to drive from another town.

If you are a smoker, and are in need of high speen internet services, I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. Non smoking rooms have high speed internet, in certain parts of the hotel, but NO smoking rooms have high speed internet. Also the rooms are old looking and very smelly, showers dont drain, cable tv is horrible, (about 10 channels) its more like a Motel 6, but you pay 3 times the cost for little or nothing.

We thought the rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. There was also a nice assortment of foods for the breakfast instead of just the usual donuts. We've stayed in many national hotels and found this was better than many of them!!

I have stayed at this motel on several different occasion's. I stayed there on my honeymoon and found it to be a very nice place. It was clean and the rooms are very nice, the staff was very nice and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. And I plan on going back again. Great Place!!!

stayed there about 5 differents times over the years and never had any complaints . It was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast, it was convience close to shopping and relatives we were visiting. The employees were very nice and a serviciable.

Located right outside of moorefiel, the property is well kept and professional looking. The lot offers an abundant amount of parking. Found the lobby, halls and all other guest areas to be very clean and well taken care of. Exercise room was a little small, but sufficient with a small variety of equipment. Hotel offers nice ammenities. Nice little breakfast. Found housekeeping staff to be curtious and prompt with their service. Our room was very clean and neat, well thought out. The staff at the front desk were very nice and went above and beonyd to meet my needs. Very helpful staff. Hotel offers great security measures and staff was in the office 24 hours a day. Well lit halls and guest areas, and parking. Price is well worth the stay. I also found that guests can get passes to the bowling alley that is nearby, there is also a movie theater near. We asked to see other room types when we arrived and staff was helpful and gave us a little tour of the different rooms. All spacious and nice. There is no pool and not alot of entertainment offered for young children. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and plan to stay many nights to come.

This is the nicest place I have stayed at in a long time! The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Couldn't ask for a friendlier place. Exercise room was nice, breakfast was good. Beds and rooms very comfortable and clean.
