Nice City and Expect the Unexpected!
By Anonymous, 8/4/11
I strongly recommend that you ask the staff to check the rooms for uninviting guests before your arriving. Found a lizard in the bathroom after my family and I arrived for our short visit.

we'll be back....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/19/06
the place is quiet n charming and a short drive to the entrance to the park...Although we noticed that the cottage we stayed is not very clean, dust in every corner, spider on the ceiling, bed sheets has stain, remote control is broke..

Incredible Mountains
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/13/06
The chalets allow for big or small groups and individual privacy, yet our big group had giant BBQs, then we could each go back to our little place in the mountains. VERY close to the park entrance and river access. Very friendly staff. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended

Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/8/05
We dislike the pool. It is too cold. We love the large and comfy chalet. We love the great view and close proximity to the park. We love the friendly staff and pets. We love this hotel.

No bugs m'lady
By ThomasM, 8/9/05
I found this inn like other locations to be charming with a rustic feel. Room was clean, delightful setting in oak trees. Rustic cottages are great.

Don't waste your money!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/05
If you like smelly cabins and lots of bugs in your room, then this is the place for you. But, if you are like me and prefer to not live with wolf spiders, grasshoppers and lizards, then stay away from this place.

Needs a lot of work!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/14/05
We planned to stay three nights at the Sequoia Village Inn. I figured for $120 a night that it would be clean and free of bugs. WRONG!! When we first got there the cabin was musty, a spider was on my pillow and in the sink, cobwebs were everywhere and there were a lot of bugs in the bathroom. But, I tried to stick it out and have fun. The next day we noticed that the unpopped popcorn bag had been chewed threw by a mouse. The shower was clogged up so I had to stand in a foot of my own yucky water. The pool needed a good scrup and chemicals. The hot tub wasn't turned on and obviously wasn't kept up. The grounds had so much potential but stuff was all over the place and the grounds were just unkept. The second morning a big lizard chased me out of the bathroom...we then found a big hole behind the shower which is where all the bugs and wildlife were coming in. Did I mention that a big grasshopper was sitting on my husbands pillow in the middle of the night when he woke up? We checked out a day early. The owners were suppose to call me but never did and I was charged the full rate. We then found a very nice hotel and a wolf spider came crawling out of my bag!!! I wonder where that came from? I would find some other place to stay if I were you! (Unless you like creepy crawlies..then you will be in heaven!!)
