Little Sahara Motel, Waynoka

We have stayed at many motels across the US with my husbands, work. This motel we really enjoyed. There is a young couple running now and they were very attentive to our needs and pleasant. My young son stays with us and we have walked out of hotels before for uncleanliness, this was not one of those occasions. we would certainly stay again if we pass through Wynoka.

First of all let me say that I stayed at the Trails Inn,to my knowledge it is owned by the same people who own the Little Sahara Motel.Some of the reviews for the The Little Sahara Motel were not so good. Let me say that the Trails Inn was VERY clean and are under new ownership since the bad reviews took place.The sheets were nice and white and smelled like they just came out of the wash.There was a shower but no tub.The water in the shower was powerful and stayed a constant temperature during the length of my shower.The room had a TV with cable,a clean coffee pot with coffee,a small refridgerator and a microwave.This motel is old and had white cinder block for the walls.So if you want to drive 1 hour round trip to Alva or Woodward in order to have drywall for your walls then thats your decision.Overall I was very pleased with the motel conditions and would reccommend it to someone who doesnt want to pitch tents at the dunes.

Stayed in what the local people call a hotel. More like a dog house. I would rather sleep in the dog house in the located in the next yard. I think at least the dog's owners clean the dog house more than once a year. Save your money---stop by Walmart in ENID and buy a $42.00 tent. You will enjoy much better. At least the showers at the public park you can put quaters in--Take a shower--Floors will be cleaned by the State WORKERS. Word to the WISE==Bate's Hotel but even worse.

we like the service that we got the room was clean and we we're close to the atv riding area the rooms could have have some pitchers on the the wall but it was a grat motel to stay in over all ....

The rooms were clean and the manager was more than happy to meet all of our requirements. She went out of her way to make our stay pleasent. When we called to book she didnt hesitate to tell us the rooms were old and so was the motels, but she stated they were clean. They were clean and better then we expected for a small town. We had a clean room,ac,coffee pot,refridgerator,and a microwave. We would stay there again

the location is great, i have used the motel more than once and with my last visit this previous week end i could tell there are some improvment's being made. the rooms are cleaner and that was nice, they have some new cleaning staff, one tall good looking glass of water that made me want to quience my thirst. it seems to be getting better there all the time.

The room stunk of pet odors. There was dried up dog poop on the floor and other pet stains. The courtesy coffee pot still had coffee in it from a previous occupant do not know how previous. I don't think the bathroom had been cleaned. You can tell those things. Same price as Best Western where you have a clean room and a/c. The room next to us where other family member was going to stay did not have clean sheets on the bed. Over priced for what it is.

Ok, so we come here to play in the dunes, take a shower and get a little sleep and do it cheap - it's perfect. There's plenty of room in the parking lot out back for your trailer and your sand toys. I even did some last-minute repairs right outside the room and they did'nt care. Just don't go there expecting the Waldorf Astoria.
