Miami Sun Hotel, Miami

It was horrible! it was literally a crack house!!!! me and my boyfriend stayed there in march 09.. we asked for a smoking room! it was digusting there were junkies all over the 4th floor it was so creepy! the shower was disgusting we had to take a shower with our flip flops on.. outside of the hotel were only homeless and junkies.. it was so creepy. Please do not go there. it really isnt worth it! my boyfriend asked the receptionist if the hotel was some kind of crack house her response was she giggled and said welcome to miami! it smelled so bad! the elevator was so creepy! it was so bad i told my friend and my boyfriend to go down through the stairs that was a horrible mistake as we were going down we saw a woman who looked and was a crack head i got scared and she saw it so she yelled at us and said dont ever go down these stairs theres a lot of addicts around! OUTTA CONTROL! please dont go there.. nobody wants to go to the GHETTO especially when your vacationing!

This is my favorite place to stay in Miami because there is always interesting people there to meet. Its fun to spend time in the lobby chatting with other foriegners. I stay at the hotel 4 or 5 times a year when I'm in the US for business. I bring friends sometimes and they always leave happy. The manager is always helpful planning my day and even my departure flight. The restaurant is nice and cheap too.

My sister and I went to Miami Sun because we wanted a cheap place to stay. We def got what we paid for. The lobby looked nice and modern but the hallways smelled so bad and the elevator was scary!! It sounded like it was going to fall at any moment. When we got to our room it smelled and there was a rusty old fridge which I made my sister open because I was afraid there was going to be a body in there!!! The shower was so dirty we couldn't even use it and the bed had stains and hair in it. Not a very good place to stay. The staff was very friendly though and the location was good. We were right near Bayside so we went out and got really drunk and then came back and passed out! I would not suggest staying here and I will never go back again!

I thought it was great. The hotel is just down the street from five night clubs. Its also walking distance to just about any kind of food you can think of. The room was fine. It was clean and quiet. I usually came back at 4 or 5 in the morning and slept in til noon. I'll go back.

It may be close to everything downtown but it isn't worth it. It's very dirty. I left and drove 5 miles farther for less money and 200% cleaner. Do not stay there. CW.

I have stayed there a couple of times before and found it affordable.This yr I called up and was surprised to note that the prices had been increased though I still booked, On my arrival I hwever decided to go to a cheaper hotel on Miami Beach and never regretted because I stealthily got to the hotel and asked to see the rooms fr the increased prices and was disgusted to note that not only were they no improvements but conditions had detiorated considerably, the one asset remains is its closeness to everything downtown but no value for money and the new ownership has not wrked It is very dirty!

Miami Sun Hotel is in the middle of downtown. I needed to be close the courthouse and didn't want to spend allot of money. It was close to everything... Brickell, Bayside, Seybold building, shopping, Miami Dade College, clubs scene. A very convient location. For the price it is a great buy. It is nice to see there are still some economic hotels around. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. Clean and simple rooms- no frills.

The chinese man at the front desk sat and played his game on the computer and every question i asked he reluctantly answered, i even asked about the for international visitor he said there were no discount and then i went to the front desk the day after to be told that i should have paid $55 instead of $60. The elevator have high concentration of industrial Grease smell, the beds were not made i had to return the keys six times to find the better of the worst rooms. There were evidence of poor plumbing and leaking ceilings the bath room can only fit you if your were small person, if your weigh is over 140 lbs then your body will be rubbing against the dirty wall while you shower. You are required to pay $10 deposit for phone use (local calls) and if you do not use the phone your deposit is not returned, when each call cost 50 cents The furniture are in poor shape , when you sit on the bed middle the two ends rise up There were no internet connection even if you had your computer

This Hotel is disusting, everything was dirty, the remote in our room wasn't even the one that matched the T.V. We awoke at 5am to the fire alarm going off to realize we wouldn't know if there was a fire because there was no sprinkler system. The bed is long enough for someone 5 feet tall and shorter. And the shower(no bath) was 2 1/2 feet by 2 1/2 feet. You receive 2 hand towels to dry off on after bathing. The stench of the room is enough to keep you out and about exploring Miami your entire stay.

GREAT IT KNOW THAT ITS A PLACE WHERE I CAN RELAX AND ENJIY MYSELF.THIS HOTEL IS A PLACE WHERE I THINK IS A A PLACE I WOULD WANT TO VIST MORE OFEN
