Kon-Tiki Motel, Venice

I went to Venice to visit a relative. I was comprehensive, not knowing the hotel. I was completely surprised. The rooms were very large and clean. The staff was great. I loved the layout of the hotel. My 20 yr old daughter and her friends also got a room. We all had the best time. Will definately go back there in a heart beat.

This is the best kept secert of Venice. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The apartment like rooms are well equipted with everything you would need. Convient location. Can not wait to go back.

You wouldn't believe what this is place is like. It is not just an accommodation, it is a neighborhood. I would stay alone because my husband is still employed so early in the AM i would go to their apt. and have coffee with them before we all started our day.(they of course had already started but knew i was lonely so would take 15 minutes just to spend with me). I believe the owner made a great choice in hiring Jackie and Carl. Thank you. Susie

My family and I reserved a room for a week over Christmas break. For the price we paid I did not expect what we got. The room was very nice and clean, the owners/management were very nice and helpful. The room had two beds, tv, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee pot, dishes, cookwear, etc. Basicly everything you need except the food. There are even extra blankets and pillows in the room. This really is Venice's best kept secret. It is pet friendly and they also have AAA and Military discount. This is a cozy and comfortable place to stay. We loved it and plan to stay again next time we go to Florida.

We have stayed at this Motel when we vacation in Florida for the last 3 years. VERY clean and Pet friendly. Linda makes everyone feel at home and does a fantastic job with this small but great place.

I loved the staff! They were very friendly and helpful! They did a very nice job cleaning our rooms! We went with a group of 25+ people, and they were very nice and accomodating. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel! It is very close to all the attractions and very reasonably priced! =)
