Hotel Planter, La Conner

We have stayed herea tleast 3 times over the last 6 years and love it. The hotel is on the mainstreet of LaConner jst steps away from the shops and the restaurants. Very old quaint and charming, but no elevator and the rooms are the second floor just so you know. Depending on the time of year you might want to ask for a room away from the street which can be noisy till late into the evening. We usually go in December as the shops are unique and offer items not found elsewhere, and the Christmas lights that come on at dusk are beautiful!

We have come here frequently and it is always such a treat. If you want to splurge a bit,their Jacuzzi Suite is wonderful. Our favorite room is the Deluxe Queen. It is spacious and bright.We also like their regular Queen rooms. We like the one that overlooks the courtyard and sculpture garden as well as the ones streetside where you see some of the chanel across the street. It is right across the street from THEE place to go for breakfast, Calico Cupbourd. We find it so nice to sit in the private garden in the evening with a glass of wine and in the day it is right in the best location for checking out the great shops and galleries. The location of this hotel is also steps away from the wonderful resaurants in this charming town. I personally have not been disappointed at any of the restaurants we have gone to here. We
