Bloomer Inn & Suites, Bloomer

My husband and I stayed at the Bloomer Inn & Suites for a couple of days in January 2011 and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is VERY friendly. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. We also really enjoyed visiting the little cafe they have in the building, the food was very good and really inexpensive. I will definitely be staying there again if I'm ever in the area.

We had a reservation for a smoke free room. NO way possible as the entire placve reaked. We asked to see a room because the lobby smoke was so bad. We were shown a room the owner claimed was rated 4 star and smoke free for 30 years. Stinky. We could not stay on site. The owner charged our card and is now facing retribution. Be warned - drive 15 miles south and take any hotel in Chippewa

When we tried to check in the chain smoking woman refused to get off her butt to look for our room number. I had to go back out to car to look it up myself. Even though I had a previous arrangement to be able to get into a room early so my out of town guests could change into their dress clothes, the chain smoker had a fit about it. As it turned out all of the rooms had already been cleaned. My family and I met in the lobby and were told to go to another room because we were being noisy-there was not another soul around for us to disturb. One of our guests found a tomato juice can in the bathroom of their room full of cigarette butt s-very inviting. The smoke detector in one room was missing. I thought the rooms were high priced considering the ammenities available. If you are allergic to dogs, stay away. There were 2 large dogs in the office. The staff clean rooms in bare feet and I do not think that is sanitary. Stay away.

When i showed up at the Bloomer Inn & Suites - they had completely lost my reservations - i was in town for a wedding reception and had made the reservations weeks in advance. Not only did they call me liar, but they made no effort to secure us another room. I will never return. I am from the Rice Lake Area, and expected more.

very friendly, clean and and good sized rooms, acomadations were great. front desk got us extra pillows, coffee makers, tv, clock radio, hair dryer and extra room supplies, cant wait to return, thanks
