Americas Best Value Inn/Seaside South, Seaside

This hotel was awful. The room had no welcome book or anything but a dirty razor in the drawers. The phone cord pulled out from the phone when I tried to call the front desk. The internet service never worked. The bathroom had dirty towels on the back of the door and an empty shampoo bottle from the previous guests. The sheets on the bed were thrown on loosely (no fitted sheet) and the hotel service staff could not even communicate with me verbally. Not sure if they spoke English or another language because they literally would not answer my questions when going to the office twice. We had planned on staying 2 nights and checked out the next morning and found a nicer place in Monterey!

We stayed 8/7/10 and it was not that bad the manger lowered the price for us and I thought the room was going to be dirty but it was clean. There is only one dead blot lock on the door but I felt safe. On our last night there there was a lady yelling on her phone in the parking a lot at 1:30 a.m and the owners came out and had her removed from the property. the Location is good colse to everything. I would stay again

This hotel was the worst motel ever. We stayed there for only 15 minutes and we left to go find another place to stay. The motel had no internet and the people who worked at the front desk kept arguing with us that there was. The office and room smelled bad. The water smelled and also the drinks they served. The lamps were broked and the wasn't ready. We will never stay at this place ever again.

The room we stayed was infested with bed bugs. It is dirty and smelled bad. Health department should close this place up.

We had paid for a Queen Size bed and they put us in something that was smaller than a Full. We barely fit in that bed. Also the pillows were old, hard and flat. There was No in-room coffee as the website claimed. The soap in the room was some cheap Hindu stuff. Also the noise from the street was horrible all thru the 2 nights there. There was drunks and beggars outside the hotel that were yelling at 4 in the morning. Stay away if you are looking for a good place to stay.
