Clearwater Lakeshore Motel, Mackinaw City

Wanted a nearby getaway for birthday. The view of Devils Lake and grounds are great. However, for $125.00 a night I expected more of the room. I was not told there was Bunk Beds for my husband and I, the bedroom was so small I had to turn sideways and walk along the wall to get into bed and the view above was of plywood from the bunk on top. The window shades were torn, the blinds on the front sliding door were cracked. I was very disappointed and will not return.

Clean and Friendly with a great view. We got a discount from the beginning because the room available was not really what we asked for. The room was clean and had the best view of the Mackinaw Bridge in town. A nice little patio for viewing for a fire pit on the beach to enjoy. I loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!

The Clearwater Lakeshore is a great place! The rooms are clean and the front desk staff went way out of the way to help in a difficult situation. The view is spectacular and I would absolutely reccomend this property to everyone!

I was truly impressed with this motel. It was quiet, great view and had impecable staff. I think it was well worth the money.

What a pleasure to look out the terrace door and see Lake Huron in your "backyard". You can see the "Mighty Mac" day and night...but the night view was great because the bridge is lit. Very nice indoor pool and jacuzzi; rooms were pleasant and clean; close to restaurants and the ferry; campfires on the beach;breakfasts more than the usual "continental". All in all, a very nice experience.

I liked everything about the hotel. Make sure if you are going to the casino that the voucher they give you has an expiration date that has not passed the date you are going to the casino, the hotel name on it and the initials of the person who gave it to you on it. Also get a receipt for trip over the bridge. It costs $2.50 each way and the casino will reimburse you for it.
