Countryside Motel, Shelburne

Likes: Clean. Convenient. Good pool with a deep end. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Dislikes: Very small continental breakfast selection. Couldn't get my first cup of coffee until 8 am. Overall, its a nice place. The room we had was a small kitchenette, so we could eat a couple of meals "in" and save some money. There's a lot of traffic on RT-7 so it's a little noisy after 11 pm. I would stay there again.

The place was rundown. The hotel, the stairs, railings etc needed a coat of paint. The tub and sink were clean but the vents were rusted, the chair had holes due to wear the base boards were dirty. The bed was ok. The front desk gave us the best room for internet connection which worked great. The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was minimal. We wanted a just a one night stay which other places in the area required a two or three night stay.

This is one of the best motels I have been too....It has real coffee mugs, not sterofoam. And a real stove, but bring your own cooking utensils...Service was great...Going back next year to stay..forget the chains...this is the place to stay
