Killington Inn is FUN!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/20/08
My wife and I just enjoyed a week at the Greenbrier Inn in Killington, VT. What a warm, hospitable place to stay. Neat fireplace in the great room, art hanging everywhere. You may want to move in. It is staffed by the owners that are interested in helping you get what when you want it whether it is lift tickets or restaurant information. Great coffee, tea, hot cocoa and my wife made a “Snow Girl” on our balcony. Pico and Bear lifts are five minutes away and Okemo is only twenty. It has the without a doubt the best gift shop in the state. It has three floors and is the most tasteful and colorful boutique you will find. Check out their website!

Beautiful Inn and great golf course
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/06
My wife and I just returned from a 10-day tour of Vermont, NH and Maine. I played golf at 7 different courses and my wife toured around walking and shopping while I was gone. We both agree our stay in Killington at the Greenbrier was our favorite. I was referred to the Inn by Green Mountain National Golf Course (I read about the course in Golf Digest and was dying to play it). I did their golf and stay and package, which worked out very well, which I can't say for most of the places where I have done this. The owner even arranged my tee time. What a fantastic golf course. My wife also loved the store owned by the Inn; she said she spent 2 hours in it. Everything at the Inn was perfect. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We are already talking about going back in this fall.

Perfect Location, Great Value
By Mary Jo, 11/29/05
We stayed at the Inn during Thanksgiving weekend. It was the perfect vacation. The Inn is inviting and warm as are its friendly owners. The rooms are very clean and large with private balconies. The Greenbrier location is fantastic: a very short drive to Killington and Pico ski resorts and all area restaurants and shops. The people that work at the Greenbrier directed us to attractions and restaurants that we would not have found on our own. Their recommendations were perfect. A visit to the adjacent Greenbrier gift shop is a must. Three stories of gorgeous home decorating items and great baby gifts! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/24/05
Warm, relaxing, beautiful, we can't wait to go back. The family that runs the Inn treated us like old friends. This friendly happy atmosphere make it our favorite place to stay in Killington.

What a find!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/05
My wife and I stayed over for a ski weekend along with our 1 and-a-half year old on the recommendation of some friends. What a great find! The staff is extremely warm and inviting and made every moment we were there as comfortable as possible including a warm breakfast welcome around a nice roaring fire. They are also extremely kid-friendly although there were plenty of singles around as well. The rooms are large with all the amenities you need and excellent views from the balconies. The location was perfect for us..not right on the mountain but a VERY quick 3 minute drive to Killington peak as well as all the local restaurants and attractions. Speaking of attractions the gift/antique shop is worth visiting on it's own merit. My wife couldn't get enough and I have to admit there were enough interesting and fun things to keep even my limited attention span piqued. A great place to pick up some nice gifts for the way home after a fun day of skiing. The price was also right and I look forward to going back many times in the near future.

we will go back to the GREENBRIER.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/14/05
We stayed at the Greenbrier during a recent trip to Vermont to see the fall foliage. The rooms were very spacious and the view from our room was exceptional. The Inn is very close to Woodstock, VT, and the Killington ski area, which are both places we wanted to visit while on our vacation. The staff was very friendly and informative about the area.

Elegant country inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/05
My husband and I spent the weekend skiing at Killington and stayed at The Greenbrier (on a suggestion from a friend). We found it to be an elegant coutry inn with all of the modern conveniences. You walk in the front door to classical music, fresh flowers and a candle burning. The rooms are comfortable and quite large. Each has its own small balcony (although it was winter and therefore a bit cold when we visited- we didn't take full advantage!) There is a beautiful lobby with a fireplace with a large comfortable sofa in front of it- perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers after a long day on the slopes. Friendly staff makes your stay very nice. The attached gift shop is BEAUTIFUL! The perfect spot in Killington- we'll definitely be back!

Two thumbs up!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/05
We heard about this Inn from friends who are regulars to Killington, they told us it would feel like visiting a friends home. I still couldn't get over the super friendly service from the young couple that owned the place. Everything was clean and very quaint. Although it is not a ski on/off property, the four mile distance to the mountain was fine. The only downside was that my wife found their gift shop, which is huge, and proceeded to spend two hours and several hundred $$. I almost couldn't get her to go skiing the last day because she wanted to walk back to the store. I would recommend this place.
