Great Fun and Great Value
By ,
I booked the Cinnamon Bear via the net from Australia. When we arrived we were met by the manager Bruce who is a fanastic host and makes everything fun. We then met the owner Russ who put's his heart into this B&B making it a lovely place to stay. The breakfast's are varied, we enjoyed blue berry pancakes one morning then french toast the next. Happy hour from 5pm-6pm in front of the lovely open log fire is lot's of fun and a great way to meet people. The open air spa which is surrounded by snow is very inviting after a hard day's skiing. We stayed for a week but could have spent a month there. We woke up each morning to a fresh snow, had the option of driving up the mountain or catching the nearby free bus. The Cinnamon Bear is located in a very handy position and value for money is great. We will be returning as when you find a lodge/B&B as good as this there is no need to look any further. wonderful and excellent service!
By ,
this was a great hotel and the owners are super sweet and very accommodating. we stayed in the one bedroom with a living room and kitchen and there was plenty of room. the owners also provide a pancake breakfast that surprised us all and extremely good!! i would definite stay here again. the only draw back was the kids were not able to play their xbox at night due to no hook ups on the older tv unit, but they survived.

a little gem
By ,
Stopped over for one night on the way to Las Vegas. Was a bit worried when we first saw the place as it looks a bit tired looking from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room. There was a four poster bed which was really comfy and a pot bellied stove in the corner of the room which gave the room a nice homely feel. The room was spotlessly clean and the only downside for us was the fact that there was no facility for making a hot drink. The breakfast was fantastic - super fluffy pancakes, which coming from England was a first for us (it's usually egg & bacon). Overall we thought it was excellent value for money and would definately stay there again.

Nice and Cozy!
By ,
Nice, clean place. Wonderful service. The people above us were a bit noisy and woke us up, but other than that, the experience was wonderful. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Wonderful homemade pancakes for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. DVD and VCR in the bedrooms-kids were able to watch movies-loved that!

Looking forward to next year !!
By ,
Thanks Mike & Gabby !! We went up for the fall colors in mid October. We showed up after their happy hour and Mike gave us a free bottle of red wine. Both Mike & Gabby treated us very well and we are already planning for next years trip. The breakfasts were fantastic they are great cooks. The rooms were clean, lots of hot water and they always had a smile on their face !! Thanks you guys. j

Feels like home
By ,
It was just outside of town but close enough to walk to everything. It was so realxing to be out of the hustle and bustle of the tourism. Not too updated but so cozy.

Old fashioned warmth.
By ,
Pleasant, alpine ambiance. peaceful, quiet & cozy fireplace area for individual apres ski relaxing. Breakfast cuts off too early. No private dressing or changing area in room if shared.Tiny closets for snow/ski wear, boots & bulky coats. Some rooms so small one can only sit on the bed or lie down-no area in room for a chair or companion needing to stop in for a few minutes. Not even a tiny in-room frig, coffee maker or microwave. Great owner/managers.Hot tub area is bleak.
