3 reviews for Silver Fountain Inn, Dover
Charming and elegant
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/18/07
The Silver Fountain Inn is absolutely one of the most elegant B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The architecture and furnishings were fabulous. I stayed in the Silk Room, which was large and gorgeous, with an enormous bathroom. Susan was very personable and the breakfast service the next morning was outstanding. My only complaint was that the home is on a busy street, and there was a lot of street noise, especially in our room. Also, Dover itself was a big disappointment - unfortunately I would have no motivation to return.

A great trip

This gorgeous old house is a beautifully decorated, comfortable and friendly B and B. The breakfasts were delicious (and the cookies too!) and it was just a five minute walk to a suprisingly lively downtown with live music, great pubs and nice restaurants. We had a great visit.
