Motel Nauvoo, Nauvoo

This was just what I needed. The motel is a little out of the hussle of the downtown area and was quiet, clean and pleasant. There are plenty of outlets to recharge all my electronics and a comfortable bed to recharge me for the rest of my journey. I am sitting here this fall morning and enjoying the peace and comfort. The back window looks out on a large lawn area covered with autumn leaves. The only thing I would wish is that the furnishings were less "contemporary motel" and more in keeping with the historical town. I could have saved myself time and energy if I had checked this out first. I didn't think I could afford the rates here in Nauvoo, but the places I looked for out of town were even more and not nearly as nice. I was road weary and tired and the staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. THey gave me directions to get here and had the heater on when I arrived.. The little hospitality room was a pleasant surprise as well. I wish I could stay longer and hope to return. SMonroe

The Motel Suite is fantastic! It is essentially a 2 bedroom apartment complete with a living room and kitchen. It is very very nice. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. There is also a great discount for the local diner down the street for those staying at the motel.

I stayed at two different motels in Nauvoo in September 2006. Motel Nauvoo is an older motel, but I enjoyed my stay at this facility much more than the newer motel. The bed was comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and in good repair. When I have the opportunity to visit Nauvoo again, I will book reservation far enough in advance to make sure my entire stay is at Motel Nauvoo.

We were at this motel in November and it was so cozy and comfortable. The owner was so accomadating as it was late at night and he told us where we could find a place to eat and that there would be hot chocolate and snacks in the hospitality room at the motel. It was so clean and fresh - we will always find our way there when in the area.

It was a nice place. i loved everything about it. i just cant name one. I would love to go back. the service was great. i would tell everyone that is going back there to go stay in this hotel.
