Smith Motel, Calhoun

I have traveled a lot and have stayed at many hotels. The Smith Motel is a large and older motel. However, the rooms are clean and quiet with good showers along with TV and wireless internet. Bottom line this motel is the best overall value I found on this or any other exit. Other hotels on nearby exits will easily run you twice as much a night without adding much to your stay. Also, the owners change towels/clean/vac your room everyday and are very friendly. Bottom line if you have a complaint they will accomodate you.

it was nasty, broke down refrigerator, the bathroom had a broken sink. There were more roaches than I have ever seen in one dweeling. We were in a double room but there wasn't enough wash rags or towels for all of us.
