Riverside Bed & Breakfast, Natchez

This was the most fantastic place. Durrell is absolutely wonderful. If you are going to Natchez you have to stay here. The place is amazing and the view is breathtaking. And as I said Durrell will have you in stitches before you leave. Wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for an amazing time.

My wife and I stayed at Riverside May 28 through May 30th. A wonderful place. House is decorated with beautiful antiques, the view is amazing, and the food out of this world. Even if none of those things were true, host Durrell Epperson would make the trip worthwhile. His stories keep you entertained and the wonderful wine he serves is everflowing. Also his local recommendations were perfect. I cannot think of words to describe how wonderful our visit was and we will be returning as soon as possible.

Durrell is an excellent host. He will make sure you are comfortable and he knows about everything in Natchez and will take care of you. Cooks a good breakfast too! The best part is his patio view of the Mississippi River high on the bluff--it is beautiful. I could sit there for hours. His antiques are beautiful and would rival any home in Natchez. And the host is a very fine man.

I loved the place because of the location and the owner is the best host in the world. I have been their 3 times. It has the most wondeful view of the Bluff...

Besides the lovely home & fabulous food, the host is absolutely charming!! Beautiful antiques decorate every room. The host serves wine & snacks in the evening on the porch overlooking the Ms river. The large breakfast served in the dining room with exquisite china is more than one could finish,but one thing better than the next. He also has a wealth of unusual, interesting books to glance through. But his charm & generosity is the star of the show!!

Truely a memorable experience! The service was second to none! Everything was clean,and the atmosphere was splendid! A real Keeper! This place was what southern hospitality is all about.Weather you want to relax in the quiet of the room, or take in the nite-life of the town, its all there! Thumbs Up!!

We stayed at Riverside the weekend of 26th of May 2006. Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast, we really did not know what to expect. Durell, the owner, gave us king and queen service with the personal helping information on tours to the breakfast each morning he personally cooks and serves. The wine he serves you upon arrival is the best. We had do go out and buy some on the way home. Trust me, you owe it to yourself to visit Durell at Riverside Bed and Breakfast. WE JUST LOVED OUR STAY THERE. DURRELL MADE US FEEL SO WELCOME AND COMFORTABLE. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO SERVE US. HIS HOME WAS VERY CHARMING.

I love the view of the mighty Mississippi River, as well as the lifetime collection of antiques in the home. The proprietor is a delight and you leave knowing you have made a friend.

My husband and I loved the service. The host was great Durrell served us wine in our room or on the porch each evening and brought us coffee each morning. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. the house and the view were great but, Durrell the host really makes it special. We will visit again and recommend it to all our friends.
