Great location, noisy construction

I just returned from an 8-night stay at Tesoro. For Mexico, it was an overall good experience, below are the pros and cons for my stay:
Pros: Great location, most of the staff is friendly and helpful, the recently remodeled rooms are nice, free internet in the lobby, and the food was decent for an all-inclusive.
Cons: Water in the shower was warm some days, cold others, many of the reception staff are downright rude, the jacuzzi was old and tired, and there was constant construction (jackhammers) going on throughout the day.
If you can get past the loud construction noise, this is a decent place to stay. It's located right on the marina, and the views are great. The all-inclusive food is served buffet style, and they did make an effort to vary it throughout the week (italian, mexican, french, etc.) The "24/7" food area is very sparse - chips (many times no plates) cheeze whiz, hot dogs, beer.
The inside restaurant is nice, but the surcharges for all-inclusive guests are high ($12 extra if you order shrimp or beef, $22 for lobster).
They provide a free water taxi to the beach, along with drink coupons for the all-inclusive guests, but you have to know to ask for it.
This place is great for the party crowd, but if you're looking for something more upscale and relaxing, I'd stay at a hotel directly on the beach away from the marina area.
