Omni Hotel Hotel & Villas, Zona Hotelera

The place was beautiful and I had a great time. It wasn't until our last night @ the hotel when I contracted Necrotizing Fasciitis. I had to return to the states, immediately go to the ER and undergo surgeries. Doctors believe it probably came from the hotel.

They are out to make money and only make money. I have had supper 8 hotels better then the Omni, The one thing they make me mad is the customer service at the corp office. Wow they will give you one day for free... when someone brakes in to you car causes about over $2000. in damage. they want to give you 1 night stay. i will never use this hotel again.

Overall hotel was nice and clean. On the other hand, there service and customer treatment is a different story. Seems like staff is trained to charge you for every means possible. My trip was already prepaid and booked through Yahoo. When I got there Omni charged me extra $1200 for addition people. Keep mind that everyone in my party was PREPAID through Yahoo. At first they say... CANT AVOID these charges what so ever. Then they try to sell me All Inclusive, which I dont need, in order to avoid the additional per person. After wasting 3 hrs of my time Yahoo informed me to pay the charge and it will be refunded. Also, they packed the mini bar full so you dont have room to put your own water. I made the mistake of taking sodas from the frig and putting on top on the outside. They ended up charging for sodas I didnt drink. I think this hotel is pretty scandalous!!! Management needs to be FIRED!!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Omni Cancun. The staff was really nice. They answered many questions and gave great advise during our stay in Cancun. The Resort was in the middle of construction while we were there in March 2006. I did get a peek at the rehab rooms. They are really beautiful. Flat Screen TV's, beautiful marble floors, tastefully decorated bedspreads and curtains. The whole family will love this resort.

When I first got to the hotel I was harrased by people tring to sell me trips,and the smell of mold is abundent. I was on the beach running my feet thru the sand and I found a syrenge. I saw a lady get drug thru the sand by the para sailing crew.
I did like the gym !!

GREAT LOCATION, PEOPLE JUST GREAT/FRIENDLY, WONDERFUL PLACE AND LOCATION, ATMOSPHERE JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE ROOMS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE AND LOT OF SPACE. THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE WAS I HAD TO LEAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

my wife and i were staying here during hurricane wilma....what an experience!!! all i can say is that before the hurricane all was awesome. after the hurricane...the service was totally awesome. they saved our lives!!!! kudos to all the employees for everything they did. i guarantee you that you need to stay at the omni and i guaranttee you they will take care of you better than you deserve. these employees realize that you are their paychecks, and the service shows it. thank you!!!!!!!

very good place to stay. it has many things to do that are not that expensive.

I THINK THIS IS THE BEST HOTEL I�VE EVER BEEN. TOTALY CONFORT AND PEOPLE THAT WORKS THERE IS GREAT
