very good location...walking distance to everything....overall good stay. staff was very friendly and helpful. mattress was very hard. Felt safe...no problems. would stay there again. good price.

Hotel Aranzazu is centrally located, just walking distance from the cathedral and main park. Very convenient. I had a magnificent view of the cathedral from my window. The room had a bed, TV, phone, and bathroom with toilet and shower. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Now the negatives. The room had a few cockroaches. One giant one that jumped off the wall when I tried to get it. A couple small ones on the bathroom floor. No alarm or clock in the room so I used the alarm on my cell phone. The bed is hard as a rock. And finally, the cleaning people do clean, but it takes them all day. They do one thing at 10 am. Then at noon they come back and do the towels. Then at 2 pm they come back and empty the trash. I got in really late from my flight and wanted to sleep in. But they kept knocking at the door to do their next step of cleaning and waking me up even though I had a do not disturb sign on the door. Overall, it has what you need for the most part, and it is decent. I think they should charge a less, but you're probably paying for the location. The location is excellent. Just bring your own alarm clock if you have to get up in the morning.
