Traveling on business. The hotel seems to have had some type of renovation and is apparently clean. However, my room had no control remote and had to request one. When passing by the front desk, I overheard another customer indicating he did not have a remote control in his room either. At night, I found a huge roach walking accross my room. I was given another room, but seems like this is a usual "guest" in this hotel, from the receptionist's reaction. Never heard an apology from the hotel. In my new room, there were some pubic hairs in the bathtub. I am a frequent business traveler and have not ever seen this type of lack of hygiene in hotels from this price range. Do not recommend this hotel.

At a wedding reception for the weekend. They book weddings, then warn everyone about noise ordinance. Warned multiple times during reception about noise. Pool area is dirty. Restaurant service at hotel is awfully slow. "Best rate" offered for wedding guests actually wasn't. Others found rates online for $20/night lower. Internet access charges extreme. Drinks at bar overpriced and liquor-based drinks seemed to be watered-down.

Not Bad with Minor Annoyances

This hotel is very clean and seem to be relatively new. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant serves a good breakfast, bowever, the service is not always the best since they seem to be understaffed. You might have to wait a while to get your coffee and orange juice. Annoyances: If you are staying on the left side of the hotel you have to walk past the conference rooms. Often they will have food in the hallway and the conference attendants will be milling about. It's a bit of a pain to have to force your way through a crowd of people everytime you want to get to your room. The wireless internet is terrible. You have to call the front desk to get the access code. You will not be informed of this anywhere, neither online or in your room. Once you do get the code, the access is miserably inconsistent and you will often lose the signal. To top it all off, they charge $9.95 for this!
