The room was dirty the staff was rude all and all the place was a dump!!!!!!!!!

No internet access in room or lobby

Nice room. No internet access in our room or in the lobby - signal too weak. Were told to use the outdoor pool area for internet access, and it worked there. But there is no outlet there and it's in the sun so the laptop screen washes out. Staff told us to call their contractor. This is absurd. I guess if their cable goes out you have to call their cable provider. If an air conditioner goes out perhaps they will give you the number of their mechanic and tell you to call him. Staff is evidently not permitted to contact hotel contractors. When we travel we have a schedule to keep and don't have the time or inclination to manage the repair of a hotel's facilities.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave excellent directions and even recommended one seafood restaurant that was excellent. The location was good, but will be even better when the drawbridge connecting it to New Bern has been re-opened. The rooms were very clean and the price was very good for the area. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else in New Bern.

Love it!

This is the best place to stay. All the rooms have a water-view and the sunsets over the river are beautiful! It's quiet and relaxing. The rooms are large and very clean.

I have stayed at this location 3 or 4 times now, and it is a great value. Clean and in a great location, just a good place to stay.

Would only go back if I could stay on the top floor. That way I could see over the parking lot and street, so I could actually see the water from my room
