Copper Manor Motel, Silver City

Disregard "Somewhere Between Poor and Awful" 6/9/08. It appears the motel has been reconditioned. We found the room clean and well kept and the beds comfortable. Ample parking. Yes, it is older, but our house was built in 1963 also. No breakfast or clock radio, but the price was great. If you are looking for luxury, go elsewhere and pay the big bucks.

Good price, nice steak house next door, rooms nice and clean!

This is a no-frills older hotel but the rooms are clean and spacious. I use it often as a crash pad when working in the area and all I am looking for is a bed/shower/TV. They just remodeled most of the rooms.

The only reason we stayed here is because it was late & the roads were all torn up & it was very hard to look for places to stay. Bikers kept motoring in & out of the parking lot most of the night. Very noisy. The clerk wasn't what I would call friendly - no smile. The only thing that could have redeemed staying here would have been if it was really inexpensive and it wasn't. We were overcharged for an off season room. Not very secure, only one door lock - there was evidence that someone had tried to break in previously. This was marginally clean - that's the best comment I can give.

I've stayed in some dumpy places but this one takes the cake. I don't even know how to begin to desribe how unclean the room was. First, there was a two inch ring around the baseboards that I am sure has ever seen a vacuum. There were truly disgusting looking stains everywhere on both the floor and walls. The carpet did not even come all the way to the door jamb. We had no other choice as it was late and we could not find anything else. Worse than bad!

I stayed here for a month over the course of two trips down here while deciding to move here. Being an older facility, it's a very comfortable place if you you don't mind lack of ambiance or putting up with a smaller room that may not have a light, airy atmosphere. But, for the price, you get your money's worth. A comfortable room at a palatable price is worth a lot!
